Overview

On this unannounced single-player open-world adventure, I led the direction of the open world, focusing on large-scale layout, world building, and systemic coherence. My role evolved from hands-on world design into ownership of world direction, guiding both structure and content across the project.

Responsibilities

  • Directed the overall open-world layout and world-building rules

  • Defined large-scale geography, traversal, and spatial logic

  • Owned and authored side quests within the open world

  • Collaborated closely with mission design, art, and narrative

  • Balanced high-level direction with hands-on design work

Production Scope

  • Single-player open-world adventure

  • Early foundations through active production

  • NDA-restricted content
