Overview
On this unannounced single-player open-world adventure, I led the direction of the open world, focusing on large-scale layout, world building, and systemic coherence. My role evolved from hands-on world design into ownership of world direction, guiding both structure and content across the project.
Responsibilities
Directed the overall open-world layout and world-building rules
Defined large-scale geography, traversal, and spatial logic
Owned and authored side quests within the open world
Collaborated closely with mission design, art, and narrative
Balanced high-level direction with hands-on design work
